Park City School of Wine
by Mike on Mar.01, 2009, under Camera Op., Editor, PCTV, Videos
I had a chance to film the Park City School of Wine during one of there classes held at the Silver Baron Lodge at Deer Valley. The headmistress, Kirsten Fox, was so nice and allowed me to mic her for the whole lesson. This class was comparing “Old World” wine vs. “New World” wine. Even though I was filming, I learned a thing or two.

One of my favorite Artists, William Morris, has been blowing glass for decades. Recently the Kimball Art Center in Park City had one of his collectors exhibitions in their main gallery. I had a chance to meet the Filmmaker John Andres, who recently did a documentary on William Morris and the collection’s Curator who is a huge fan of Bill as well.

by Mike on Feb.14, 2009, under Camera Op., Editor, PCTV, Videos
This was one of my favorite events to cover. When I saw that the Stihl Timbersports competition was coming to Utah I signed up immediately to film it. You’ve probably seen this event on ESPN, they were there to film this, but they let me in for a sneak peak at the action.
